阿连常听到或者在看论坛的时候,都会看到大家对货代的各种抱怨。阿连也曾经因为货代有过抓狂的时候。但是,在经历过一次“漫长”的订舱过程后,阿连充分体会到货代行业是多么重要的存在。
Complaints of forwarder can be often heard from you in BBS. So do I. However, after a long period of booking container, I realize how important forwarding industry is.
船公司业务的扩张,不少船公司已经开始自己接单,直接面对供应商作业,例如Kline,Apl,韩进等。对于供应商来说,无论船公司还是货代,操作流程都是一样的:订仓,装柜,补料,收汇付款,出提单,放货。但是相对于供应商来说,直接联系船公司,一方面能够得到更直接的消息反馈,另一方面又能省掉货代操作费,是多么一举两得的事情。
With shipping company business expansion, many shipping companies have started receiving orders, doing business with suppliers directly, for example, Kline, Apl, HANJIN and so on. For suppliers, regardless of the shipping company or forwarder, the operation process is the same: booking container, loading, SI, collect payment, issue bill of lading, release cargo. But for suppliers, directly contacting shipping company, on the one hand can bring you more direct feedback news, on the other hand can save freight forwarders handling fee, so kill two birds with one stone.
但是有一些船公司的订舱操作程序繁复,需要在网上进行一系列的操作进行电子订舱,才能进入到问SO 的那一步,又或者有些船公司由于业务大,没有人会提醒你每一步操作。而不熟悉他们公司流程的你,就只能在那儿干着急。
But some shipping companies’ booking procedures are complicated which needs to make a series of online electronic booking operation, only then may get SO. Or some shipping companies, because of the large business, no one will remind you every step of the operation. If not familiar with the process of their company, you have to be anxious.
这一点,阿连就有切身的体会。那时阿连跟船公司订舱用了大概三四天时间,阿连不断打电话给船公司,问有没有收到我们的订舱邮件,对方就一句:没有收到你的邮件,收到我们肯定会回复你的。但是阿连发了数十封邮件,打了十多个电话过去,也还是只得到同样的答复。阿连尝试过叫他们发邮件给我,我直接在那邮件的基础上回复,但不知道是不是他们的邮箱设定还是怎样,阿连的邮箱发过去他们总说收不到,这是我的邮箱从来没有发生过的事情。于是阿连只好换了一个邮箱再重新发送,他们终于有了回复。并在我不断的催促下给了SO。
For this, I had first-hand experience. At that time, booking container with shipping company cost me about three or four days. Even I made several calls to the shipping company, asking whether they had received our booking email, but the answer was: not yet. I will reply as soon as I received your email. But repeating the dozens of emails, more than a dozen calls, I still got the same answer. I tried to ask them that to send an email to me, so that I could reply on that email. However, may be by the reason of email settings, they failed to receive my emails which never happened before. I have to send again by another mailbox, they finally had reply and gave SO with my urge.
补料的时候,阿连就在之前的邮件中直接全部回复发送补料,但迟迟没有收到他们发过来的BL COPY, 也没有收到任何答复。于是,我又重新打了电话过去。他们说,补料不是他们负责的,是另外一个同事负责,然后给了个新邮箱给我叫我把邮件发过去。之后,我们把费用付了,将水单发过去并附上我们的收件地址,为了避免遗漏,我将整个过程中联系过的所有邮箱地址都复制过去了,确保万无一失。
When SI, I directly replied all previous mails to send SI but had not received their BL COPY neither reply. Hence, I called again but they answered that they were not responsible for SI but one of their colleagues did, telling me to send email to another new mailbox. Afterward, we paid the bill, sending bank slip attached our receipt address. To keep perfect, I copied over every email addresses I contacted before.
谁知道,一天过去了,我还是没有收到对方回复。总结之前的经验,阿连马上打电话过去,果然,他们又跟我说,出单不是他们负责的,叫我发去另外一个邮箱地址。后来,他们终于邮件回复了:dear **, received, pls proceed. 收到这个答复,我终于松了口气,终于可以proceed了……但是一天后,阿连还是没有收到提单快递,又打了一次电话过去,他们说: “我们没有邮寄提单服务的,你可以上门自提或者委托快递代收……”听到这个,阿连整个人都不好了,整个过程都是爱理不理的样子,找不对人不会帮忙转发邮件到相关负责人,我们做不对的程序从来不会主动告知,只会一直hold着,整个过程我都像一只热锅上的蚂蚁,阿连那时候的想法是:要是有个货代,那该有多好啊……
Unexpectedly, I still didn’t receive a response one day later. Thanks to previous experience, I called them immediately, of course, they told me that they were not responsible for issuing B/L so I had to send to another email address. Finally, they replied: dear **, received, pls proceed. I could be relaxed because it finally can “proceed”. But one day later, I didn’t received B/L express, so I called them again. They said: “posting B/L is not our service, you can take it by yourself or entrust courier collection… ” I couldn’t be eased this time. They always were indifferent, failing to transfer mails to the right person, failing to tell me that I did the wrong process but always keep holding. I just like ants on a hot pan. One thought in my mind at that time was: it must be extremely good if there is a forwarder…
当然,阿连分享这个案例出来,绝对没有冒犯或者批评船公司的意思,只是想借此事例告诉大家,无论船公司还是货代,都会有好的一面和不好的一面,大家不能够以偏概全。要客观对待与货代的关系,因为每一个行业的存在都有其的必要性。
Of course, sharing this case, I absolutely don’t mean to offend or criticize shipping company, but just want to take this case to tell everybody that regardless of the shipping company or forwarder will have a good side and bad side. You cannot be biased, with objective treatment of the relationship with the forwarder, because the existence of every industry has its necessity.
