外贸曾经对于阿连来说,是一个远在天边,又近在眼前的陌生行业。“远”是因为它涉及世界进出口,“近”,是因为我在大街上能随处可见外贸成品,衣服、鞋子、零食……但对于现在的阿连来说,外贸既是一个行业,一份工作,更是一份执着。
几年前,机缘巧合下我进入了现在的公司,踏入了外贸行业,也初尝与外国友人相处、共事的新鲜滋味。从一个新手到现在积累了一定经验,算是对外贸有了一定程度了解的“中鸟”,成长过程充满酸甜苦辣。这几年里,我感受到业务员们为了订单如何辛苦工作,为迁就客户时间熬夜早起,面对拒绝的时候需要如何从容面对,面对挫折时如何重新爬起来,面对业绩压力,竞争对手时,如何遇强越强,越挫越勇……在他们眼中,我看到的不仅仅是兢兢业业的工作态度,更是一份对工作的执着,对成功的渴望。这也是我进入外贸行业以来最深的感触。
不同于其他行业,外贸有着更多的不确定性,从宏观环境的多变性,出口因素的不稳定性,到客户群体的国际性、多样性,外贸人想要成功,除了依靠稳定的外部环境外,个人的主观因素占了绝大部分。良好的交易环境,充足的客户资源,并不代表你就能成为TOP SALES, 相反,再差的经济环境,如果你有足够的毅力和决心,有正确的方法和技巧,就算没有客户资源,你也能突出重围,成为行业中的NO.1。
做了几年外贸人,看着身边一个个从懵懂的外贸新手到现在已经拥有自己个人的谈判魅力,拥有了个人的谈判技巧,从当初每一步都要人不停重复提醒到现在能够自己独立handle一个客户的正式外贸人,从他们身上我看到了执着的力量,有这份执着的人是有魅力的人。我的心里也有一份这样的执着,我不知道这份执着能否带领我走向成功,但是我坚信,这份执着能带领我走向不一样的人生。

As for me, foreign trade is a strange industry far away but close at hand. "Far" - because it involves world import and export, "close" - because foreign trade products like clothes, shoes, snacks... can be seen everywhere in the street. But as for me now, foreign trade is not only an industry, a job, but also a kind of persistence.
A few years ago, I entered this company under the coincidence stepping into the foreign trade industry and also experienced getting along with foreign friends. From a green hand to the practiced hand with certain experience and certain extent understanding of foreign trade, the way to grow is full of bittersweet. In these years, I know how salesmen work hard for getting orders, stay up late and get up early to accommodate the customers' time, how calm they are when being rejected, how they cheer up facing setback, how they become stronger when meeting someone stronger and how they become braver in the face of pressure and competition... I see not only the dedicated working attitude from them, but also the desire for success. This is my deepest feelings since worked in foreign trade.
Different from other industry, more uncertainty are accompanying foreign trade with variety changes on macroscopic environment, instability factors for export, the international and diversity of the customer group. If want to be successful, foreign traders must mainly rely on personal subjective factors except for the stability of the external environment. With good trading environment and abundant customer resources, you can't become a TOP SALES may be. On the contrary, no matter bad economic environment and lack of customer resources, only if have enough perseverance and determination and have the right method and technique, can you break tough environment to become the NO. 1.
Be a foreign trader in a few years, seeing colleagues around me become attractive and have personal negotiation skill from a green hand, I can see the power of persistence for they becoming a real foreign trader handling a customer from the one always reminded by others on each step. Someone who have such persistence is attractive. Actually, such kind of persistence always in my mind but I have no idea whether it can guide me to success. But I believe that it can lead me to a different life.
