[询盘与回盘] 请教各位,和客户讲了价格高的原因之后,客户仍觉得价格高,接下来我该怎么回呢?

给客户报价之后,客户是这个回复的:
Good Morning Irene,


Also, your prices seemed low at first, now many of them are in line with my current supplier and not much less. Delivery from his company to my parking lot is $450 28' truck. Also, he deals with customs, freight, damages, shortages, etc. And I do not have to pay up front - I have 60 day terms established with them.

With FOB I am sure there will be another $2500-$3500 for brokerage fees, customs clearance, freight to CT, etc.

Regarding your product, my supplier uses the same factory so I am sure the product is fine.

So, in order for me to order directly from you at these prices, your prices will have to go down significantly on many items. I do not like pieces that are poured thinly and are lightweight and my supplier verifies all of that and will take returns if there are issues.

So that being said, if you would like to rewrite your prices, we can take another look. Also, keep in mind that I did not included any quantities.

Regarding the price, here I'd like to explain:
First, you know that cost of material, salary of workers, the exchange rate of RMB are all keep increasing along with Chinese economy in recent years. As to the FOB price, port miscellaneous expence and operation cost we have to pay for the forward are also increasing. And government  policy towards Import & Export is not benefical to trading companys. Hence, in order to promise the bottom profit, we have to keep that price.Hope you can understand.
Second, the decors you inquiry  which are popular in last few years.And on the old procuct, trust me, there is no more profits on both your supplier and us.  Maybe  they perhaps had some stocks when you bought  the decors. Therefor you can buy them in a low price.
Thirdly, as we know,  market always responds to the most proforming products, so we think the most effective way to hold customer is to roll out new products consistenely. so why not try some new designs?  Here I'd like to reommend you some newly finished wrought iron deocr, which are competitive and highly welcomed in American market.  Hope you like.
Finally,  regarding our company, there are two mian advantages, one is that we own more than ten thousands kinds of products, thus there's always one kind may right for you. And the other  is that we are the one that confrom to the market trend and roll out our new designs constantly,  so we can offer more choices to our customers. I wanna say choosing us as your business patrner will help you save a lot of time and effort as well.
Please reconsider my suggestion and hope we can cooperae with you in the near future.

Thank you for staying in contact. Regarding my reasons for reduced pricing...not sure if you took those into account for my requests of price reduction. It is a great leap of faith that I use your company when your product is the same as from the company I currently using. They accommodate my needs, give me terms to pay and also take returns in the event of defect or overstock. I also do not have to deal with customs.

Also, I have selected styles based on what designs are stylish for my shop. I have been selling cast iron for 15 years and do not stay with only one style.

Thank you for your persistence but I will have to pass at this time. Unless your company is willing to make significant price reductions, I cannot use your services.

那现在我是该怎么回?老板的意思是不能降价,因为不知道开春之后价格会有多大的浮动,那我如果直接回复,价格不能降,这个客户就彻底没希望了。。。请各位大侠指教

这就是讨价还价,结果还是没把握住客户。

我的一个客户也是,发完样品后报价后,要求降低百分之五十啊,然后老板不同意,直接不回复我了唉

发样品前,价格没谈好吗?怎么发完了之后才说折扣的事情??
