比如:客户要做 L/C 30 days,你先装作非常惊讶:
L/C 30 Days !?? Frankly speaking, we always work with new customer with T/T 50%. For regular customers, we work with T/T 30%.
We rarely work with L/C because we are not familiar with that. And it seems that
bank charges is quite high.(装,继续镇定无比地装~ )
Do you think T/T 30% is available for you? If that, we will consider giving some better conditions in return.(探探口气)
有的客户的反应的确会很礼貌友好而且会告诉你需要check一下经理或老板。不过有的客户可能并不会立即同意,sorry, we only work with L/C 30 days.

We really want to work with you but it’s hard to work with L/C 30 days as it’s the first cooperation. It will be rejected by our financial department. (十分想合作但很无奈第一次合作L/C30天实在太为难。这样的付款方式会被我们财务部门拒绝 )
How about L/C at sight ?We believe it’s a fair payment terms and it ensure mutual benefits. We wouldconsider L/C 30 days in future if our cooperation keep having good records in our system.
