回答他人疑问时，为避免把话说得太满可以这样说：I'm not an expert on the subject, but from what I can tell...这方面我不是专家，但是依我看来……；例如：I wonder why they did it like that? --I'm not an expert on the subject, but from what I can tell, they're helping each other.
