(5l). its internal diameter isapproximately 4.6 inches (12 cm) and heightis 18.4 inches(47cm) for a diameterto height ratio of approximately 14.design andmaterial t must be capable of pressure up to 1000 psig. it must be made ofhigh resistant alloy (hastalloy c2000 or nickel alloy 825). its lower cone musthave shallow taper and taper to the blow valve must be smooth. the reactor isto be fabricated to industry standards (i.e. asme section vii and with thecapacity of operating through the needed short pressurization and temperaturecycles. the reactor must be supplied with steam distribution nozzles locatednear the bottom of the cylindrical section of the reactor. the reactor must beequipped with an electrically controlled relief valve to allow degassing ofentrained air at the beginning o the pressurization cycle and relief ofpressure from the maximum pressure down to the blow pressure (reduce pressurefrom 560 psig to 50 psig in 1 minute.) it must be equipped with temperature andpressure sensors.
